Global Lawyer Database Update

It is with pleasure that we report on the positive progress of the Global Lawyer Database which was officially launched early in 2025.

Since the inception of the project, potential law firms have been contacted across the world and the database can boast 350 participating law firms spread over 160 countries as of 30th June 2026.  In addition, we have been able to have a spirit of cooperation with similar crime victim organisations in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands which can provide support and give recommendations for legal advice in times of need.

Other than those bereaved families who find the need to seek legal advice and support in specific locations, the names and details of law firms are kept confidential given the sensitivity of the circumstances.  However, their locations have been plotted on the Google map under Get Help – Global Lawyer Database, where zooming in will show these in each country for easy reference.

The database remains a work in progress and we continue to invite suitable law firms to participate to provide the legal advice and support to bereaved families following a homicide. Our heartfelt thanks go to those firms who have kindly agreed to make themselves available should the unfortunate need arise.
