Steve goes the distance for Murdered Abroad

A huge thank you to Steve Rosser, who ran the Chiltern 50K on 26 September to raise funds for Murdered Abroad!

Taking on 50 kilometres involves far more than turning up on race day. Steve put in the time and training to prepare for the challenge, and we are grateful that he chose to put all that effort into supporting our charity.

The day itself brought blue skies, beautiful scenery and a brilliantly organised event. Friends and family were there to cheer everyone on, creating a lovely atmosphere and helping each other through the day.

For Steve, the final kilometres were tough. Cramp set in, but he told us that knowing he was running for Murdered Abroad gave him the extra “oomph” he needed to keep going and finish. We think that says a great deal about Steve’s determination and kindness.

Murdered Abroad is funded by donations. Support from people like Steve helps us bring together families who have lost a loved one to murder overseas and make sure they have a place where they are understood.

Well done, Steve, and thank you to everyone who supported him! If you would like to congratulate Steve with a donation, you can do so here: https://gofund.me/460fc020d
